The seller countered back Monday on our counter, and again, we have chosen to remain silent. We've made it clear at this point that it's the best offer we can make and there is no room for negotiation from our end. More than likely, the seller will wait for a higher offer as there are conditions we don't want to agree to.
This is where the fun begins since now there is just but a wee bit of blue sky left in this dream. But the best part is knowing that it will be nothing short of His hand if the seller changes his mind, and we will know without a doubt that we are moving in the right direction.

The seller might wait for a higher offer, but that doesn't mean they'll get it. You, on the other hand, can wait it out and see . . . wouldn't that be something if you end up making a lower offer down the road . . .
It sounds like you're at peace with this decision for now, something to be thankful for.
