Catch of the Day

I have no pity for these destructive little varmints. They wreak havoc across my lawn, they make unsightly mounds, and their tunneling damages the root system which eventually kills my grass. I love my grass. The bunnies eat my grass, too, but at least they're cute and fuzzy, and those tiny little droplets of poop they leave behind are only the size of a pebble.

Nope, the acres of undeveloped land surrounding our property aren't enough to satisfy the gophers; they'll bulldoze through our entire lawn if we allow them to go unchecked. Aesop's moral doesn't work well in this situation: My grass IS definitely greener on the other side.

If they can invent birth control for humans...why can't somebody design contraceptives for gophers?
