In my household, headphones talk better.
"Ohhhh, girls? There's more clothes in the dryer."
"Okay, Mom. I'll get right on that just as soon as I finish listening to this song."
"Okay. One song. Not the entire CD."

How sweet is she!! What was she listening to that was so engrossing?
I'm guessing...a Jump Five CD. They get all the hand-me-down music that their big sisters don't want anymore :-)
