Remembering

Writing Christmas letters and donating a gift package of requested items to our troops is something we've done during the holidays for a few years now. There are 29 males and 2 females in this company and from what we've read, they don't have much access to the really basic stuff. So I'd like to think that our gift will bring them a little closer to home since they're so far away.

We were only able to purchase half of what they requested so the plan next week is to set up a day when we can offer a generous sampling of all of our yummy delicious personally decorated Christmas cookies to folks at Daddy's office in the hope that we might be able to reach our goal through donations to purchase the remaining items for these young men and women: coffee, mouthwash, shower soap, shaving cream, shampoo and conditioner.

Even an old box gets a home-made Christmas makeover.

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
