My girls bathe for all it's worth: foam, animals, Frisbees, plastic containers. On occasion, everything that was never intended for saturation.
My recollection: this was suppose to be MY bathtub, overflowing with bubbles, sensual oils, and candles illuminating every sweet curve so that I could read the pages of my favorite book against my inflatable pillow. For hours. I must have been dreaming in chocolate.
Somehow things got a little mixed up when these two took over. You can see the word "possession" in their eyes. They know!
I always know what they're thinking... "We own it, Mom."
"Can you please, please, please, put some more warm water in here?"
Ahhh, they also know those smiles and all that goofiness is all it takes to melt my heart. Besides, I'm workin' on a plan to get my bathtub back. It's called "Growing Up."
