We came home yesterday to a door of broken glass. There was not one clue as to how it happened from the inside, but it was fitting for a mother's week turned upside down with deliberate determination from those who do not understand who I am. Oh, teach me to bear my crosses with mercy and forgiveness when my flesh wants to cry out for justice.
Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.
