I can always tell when my kids are serious about the activities they're engaged in because their little tongues come out to help them along with their strategy. See, it's working!

This little girl got two large helpings of apple pie for breakfast.

She also got to watch Charlotte's Web (her other present) on the way to the restaurant. That's when her mother, upon arriving, discovered she did not have her camera.

This meant that the little girl got to continue watching Charlotte's web after her Dad turned the car around and drove all the way back home, and then drove back again to the restaurant.

Once inside, Mom realizes she really doesn't need her camera after all.

The building is so dark she can't even read the menu, and that's with glasses on.

But we always have a back-up plan waiting for us at home, don't we? By the time we pulled into the driveway, Charlotte's babies had begun to say goodbye to Wilbur, and we were getting ready to eat spice cake and Neapolitan ice-cream.
